I'm Marcus, a Computer Science graduate who enjoys building full-stack applications, data-driven systems, and AI-powered tools that solve practical problems.

During my internship, I worked on solar PV monitoring systems, building data pipelines, monitoring workflows, and diagnostic tooling to help track system performance across distributed sites. That experience strengthened my interest in backend engineering, data-driven systems, and the challenges of turning raw data into useful insights.

Beyond professional work, I build projects that explore applied AI and software engineering. These include an AI-assisted job application platform, a hybrid lexical-and-semantic retrieval system for literary analysis, and machine learning projects focused on natural language processing. I enjoy working on problems that combine software, data, and user needs into useful products.
